For the first part of 2026, we will be focusing on the three foundational pillars that shape Hope United Methodist Church's identity and calling: Inclusion, Connection, and Creation. These aren't just aspirational words on a page—they're the DNA of who we are as a community and how we live out Christ's love in the world. Each pillar invites us deeper into the transformative work God is doing in and through us.
The whole creation is groaning — and Paul says that groaning isn’t a sign of dying, but of labor. This Sunday we lean into that hope on the Sunday after Independence Day, asking what it means to trust in what’s still being born when the present moment feels unfinished, even fractured.
Come as you are, groaning and all. Something is being born, and we’re tending it together.
