Vision Pillars Worship

Series For the first part of 2026, we will be focusing on the three foundational pillars that shape Hope United Methodist Church's identity and calling: Inclusion, Connection, and Creation. These aren't just aspirational words on a page—they're the DNA of who we are as a community and how we live out Christ's love in the world. Each pillar invites us deeper into the transformative work God is doing in and through us.

What leaps for joy when the generations meet?

In Luke’s Gospel, two women find each other on the road — one young, one old, both carrying something the world isn’t ready for yet. When Mary greets Elizabeth, the baby in Elizabeth’s womb leaps. Recognition. Joy. A moment where two generations, two stories, two callings tumble into each other and something holy happens. 

This Sunday we explore what it means to be a people on pilgrimage together — different ages, different speeds, different miles behind us and ahead of us, but walking the same road. The elders know where the water is. The young ones can carry more. We need each other more than we know.
