This Advent Season our theme will be "A Light in the Darkness," as we are reminded that Christ and the love Christ embodies and teaches is a beacon for us to follow. This first Sunday of Advent, our worship theme will be "We Long for God to Break in." Here, we will be joining Zechariah and Elizabeth as they are told that God has heard their prayer and that they will have a child. Their story captures that very human longing for God to enter our human story and surprise us with good news when we are struggling.
