Sponsored by the United Women In Faith. We have been meeting at St. Peter's for a number of years. Although the group is open to anybody who cares to attend and they are free to work on whatever project they wish, most of us are making hats and scarves for the Assistance League of Everett.
They have a program that clothes low income children from Snohomish County. They buy new clothes for the students but they do accept handmade hats and scarves. I am enclosing the number of items we have turned in so far this year along with the hours that the knitters and crocheters have taken to make them. We include the hours as we are community volunteers and the League uses these hours to help quality for government grants which they use to purchase new clothing for the kids.
